Winchmore Hill – Handmade Fitted Cupboards and Bespoke Storage

This project in Winchmore Hill involved the manufacture and installation of handmade fitted cupboards designed specifically around the available bedroom space. The aim was to provide generous storage while making full use of the wall height and awkward areas around the room.

The main fitted cupboards were built from floor to ceiling with framed doors and additional upper storage sections. A separate fitted unit was also created beside the window, combining full-height cupboard space with integrated drawers below. Each section was made to measure so the cabinetry could sit neatly within the existing room layout and make efficient use of otherwise unused space.

The cupboards were installed ready for the final decorative finish, with careful attention given to door alignment, panel spacing, surrounding trims and integration with the existing walls and skirting. The finished joinery provides practical bedroom storage while maintaining a consistent built-in appearance across the room.

Ylli is knowledgeable in just about every trade and has the contact in every trade. He rebuilt a knackered wall partition, painted, put down new flooring, built a boiler cabinet, built boxes for pipes, replaced rotten floor boards, electrical work, installed fire doors and did the rendering. He is such a nice guy that he even helped with odd jobs like break up furniture and take furniture out to the skip (not included in the job, added value. Others would either say no or charge). Very reliable, he turns up when he say he will, quality of work is excellent, gives ETA of completion and he is reasonable in price. Very little supervision was required from me. He gives that end to end solution and you don’t need to waste time in finding other tradesmen. I will definitely be hiring Ylli and his team again.
